Louise, Sally & Robert-My deepest condolences for the loss of your mom. She was truly a special lady, always with a ready smile, kind word or funny story. I'll remember fondly her 4th of July cookouts poolside, dogs underfoot and kids belly flopping into the water. For some inexplicable reason I brought your mom's name up in a cell chat with my own mom on Oct. 30, en route to an event off of Rt. 287. I said to her, "Maybe I should travel down to visit Mrs. Utz. It's been a long time." Now, I'm just sorry I never did. Love and peace to you all. Bob

Steve Schneider posted a condolence
This is Steve Schneider, who came across Mrs. Utzinger's obituary much too late, and it was after thinking about her daughters Louise and Sally with whom I went to high school, and actually still think about when I reminisce about the neighborhood, Cromwell Hills, we all grew up in. But Mr. and Mrs. Utzinger hold a special place in my heart. Mr. Utzinger got me my first job with New Jersey Bell. To this day I still think about that, and feel like I let him down, as I did not succeed in that job. But you know, Mrs. Utzinger still had that smile on her face whenever she saw me, even after I was let go. What a great lady and great family. I'm looking forward to seeing them both in heaven.
