Jerry was so smart and funny... he and Audrey always welcomed me in ever since Susan and I became friends all those years ago (turkey soup after Thanksgiving!). They always have a place in my heart... now that Jerry was called home -- on Resurrection Weekend -- though he's healed of old age and pain, his family and friends will miss him forever in this life :( Yet I've heard it said that our loved ones never leave us; the limitations of time and space no longer apply, and they are free to be everywhere at once. You won't see him, but he'll be right over your shoulders. As I saw it written years ago, "I'm not dead -- I'm different." I believe that. It's cold comfort right now, but comfort nonetheless. Take your well-deserved rest, Jerry; thank you for everything, most of all for raising some of my favorite people, and I'll see you when I get there.

Susan I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I've been through it and there are no words that I can say to bring comfort other than just trust in the Lord and his everlasting peace and truth.

I heard many stories over the years of how much my parents enjoyed the company of Audrey and Jerry Muenzen. I understand that Jerry was very entertaining and knew how to tell a story. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to Audrey and the family.

To my beloved Father-in-Law
You welcomed me into the family and always treated me like I was your own daughter. I'm proud to have given my son the same middle name as you and we will all miss you and love you forever...

In Camelot."
Thank you for the sail of a lifetime.
