Obituary of Edward Charles Treich

Edward Charles Treich, 84, of Basking Ridge, NJ passed away on Monday, February 15, 2016. Edward has been a resident of Basking Ridge most of his life. He was born in Jersey City, where he graduated from Dickenson High School. He attended Rutgers University where he achieved a Bachelors Degree. He had a love for construction and started his own business in town. Edward was a member of the St. Bernard's Church and Masonic lodge in Bernardsville. Edward is survived by his loving wife Genevieve. His four children Edward Treich Jr. of Manville, Kevin Treich of Harmony, Donna Treich of Bernardsville, and Glenn of Basking Ridge. He was also survived by his ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and two brothers, Don and Bob Treich. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, NJ, from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016, 11:00am at St. Bernards Church, 88 Claremont Road, Bernardsville. Interment will be private for the family.
