Mary was a vibrant, creative, joyful, beautiful woman. I remember her lovely, tall stature and perfect posture, which were outshined only by her personality. Her laugh could start with a toss of her head, and, "Yes, indeed, yes indeed...", and quickly turn into a deep gutteral, guffaw, punctuated with a stretched out "Ohhhh...". Mary hired me as her Assistant Marketing Director at TPF in 1985; it was my first interview, and my first job right out of college. I learned about manufacturing, marketing, business, and professionalism, faith, life. Mary gave me self-confidence and arranged for me to join her on trips to Boston---we were sitting in airport traffic with Sox pitcher, 'Oil-Can Boyd', in a silver limo, right next to us, 20 minutes before the game! The Mets won, and the airport was teaming with exuberant fans cheering, "Let's go Mets! Let's go Mets!" The next trip took us to California, where we dined with college friend, Brian Mulvey, visited Disney Land, Rodeo Drive, the J. Paul Getty museum, Mary;s home there: had countless helpings of key lime pie, and set up a trade show in Anaheim, CA, where I listened in awe, as Mary presented a talk on wonderful TPF foil products and charmed an audience of over a hundred industry leaders, scientists, chemists, engineers, with her knowledge and enthusiasm. Mary put that same enthusiasm into her incredible family. She adored her precious grandchildren and always looked at the world with a child's appreciation and wonderment. Our last outing was the Metuchen Life Choices Banquet. We passed Gabriel's on the way home, and Mary told me we'd go there for ice cream some day. Mary, I know you are resting in the palm of Jesus' hand. Karl and I will remember you in the Chaplet of Divine Mercy every evening. I loved you so, and will cherish the memories you've given me forever. Tomorrow, just may be an ice cream kind of day...

Mary, my dear older cousin.I was graced to be born into this wonderful Savage family and you were always there for all of us. Role model compass. A woman of great faith and trust in God, an inspiration to all fortunate enough to know her. Gentle, kind, funny and always there for all.
We love you and will cherish each and every memory and story. And there are many in this lively family of ours.
Darling we miss you. You leave behind many saddened at your death. Susie and Gene and Family

Very sad to hear of Mrs. Hoffman's passing. She was a wonderful, and very holy, woman. Though she will be missed, she leaves us all with many great memories.
