Obituary of Nancy J Hirsch

Nancy Jean Hirsch, longtime township resident Nancy J. Hirsch, 58, of Far Hills died Sunday October 20, at Morristown Memorial Hospital after a short illness. She was born in Morristown and remained a resident of Bernards Township throughout her life. She graduated Ridge High school and earned an AA degree from Castleton State College in Vermont. Ms. Hirsch then was employed 33 years by the A.M. Best Company of Oldwick, New Jersey. She was an avid animal lover having owned dogs, cats, birds, a horse and various other barnyard animals. She also enjoyed vacationing in the Caribbean mostly to the island of St. Martin. Surviving is her brother John Hirsch of Far Hills and her best friend and life partner Dave Brey. Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 from 5 – 7 PM at the Gallaway & Crane Funeral Home, 101 South Finley Ave., Basking Ridge.
