Harold John Cavanaugh Obituary World War II Veteran: Retired Captain H.J.“Bob” Cavanaugh, United States Navy, resident of Basking Ridge, New Jersey for over 50 years passed away on June 21, 2013. Family is survived by daughters, Karen McKenney of Catonsville, MD, Helen Cavanaugh of Tinton Falls, NJ, and son, Michael Cavanaugh of Mendham, NJ and their loving family and friends. Bob Cavanaugh was a business owner of Cavanaugh Gray and Co. of Jacksonville, Florida, an Executive Recruiting company, and Corporate Vice President of Human Resources at American Hoechst Corporation (Bridgewater, NJ) retiring in 1983. Bob and his wife, Bettie Jeanne, prior to her passing Nov. 16, 2004, were actively involved with “hospitality”for the Shrine of St. Joseph, in Stirling, NJ. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, 10:00 am at the Shrine of St. Joseph, 1059 Long Hill Road, Stirling, NJ. Interment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Mt.
