Ron Whalin was “The Indispensable Man” who was a leader, and it was our great privilege to know him.
If Ron Whalin was in your church or organization, or was your neighbor or friend, you knew you could count on him. He was a leader, the master of all audio visual equipment, always available to organize, lead, drive, carry, arrange, and give great advice on about every problem. He was The Indispensable Man for Chatham United Methodist Church and Chatham Kiwanis in his Chatham days. No doubt he continued his role after his move from Morris County.
We mourn his passing and send our deepest sympathy to his family and especially his dear, equally talented wife, Bert. We are assuming God or St. Peter needed some help arranging things.
