Dear Dad,
Thank you for giving me the best life I could ask for and for being the best Dad. For cheering me on and always being my biggest fan. For supporting my decisions, even if they weren't the best and for loving me unconditionally. I'll always miss you and I'll never ever forget you. Days, months, and years will come and go, but you'll live on forever.
Love you always, Robin

Mr. Frey was among the most gentle and humble of men. I loved visiting with him as he'd straighten his tall, slender posture from a stooped gardening position to greet me as I drove up. We would always chat and laugh on the front steps of the Pill Hill Rd house in Bernardsville. Mr. Frey expected me to stay and share his company and not grab my son from his good buddy Philip after their afternoon of play. He always took time for me. We spoke often of his flowers in the large garden he tended to, tucked in the woods and gracing the circular driveway. Mr. Frey tended even more faithfully to his grandson Philip with warmth, patience, and affection; as he did to my own son Luke. Today, Robin and Philip will sorely miss their father and grandfather in the Lebanon house, but he returns to his new home to embrace his Mary who left him back at the old house in Bernardsville. I imagine them now blissful in their perfect garden together.
