I am going to remain anonymous here. I just wanted to say I was in high school with Scott and I also grew up in Basking Ridge. I have a lot in common with him and I am praying for your whole family. Scott was a great guy, respectful and he was a fantastic athlete. Sending your family so much love and healing!

Mary Ann, Jeff and Jonathan, I just heard of Scott's passing! We know the grief you are going through and Dorris and I pray that it passes quickly with the Lord's help.
My memory of Scott was his sense of humor with this simple question he asked your sister.
While sitting behind Scott at a barbeque party years ago at my brother Rob’s house, not having met Scott before, I asked Barbara, “Who does he belong to?” and when Scott heard the question he said to Barbara, “What does he think that I’m someone’s pet?”

So saddened learning of Scott’s suddenly passing. I know Mary Ann, Jeff, and Jonathan your hearts are broken beyond imaginable. Scott was a fine young man with so many talents, most of all his compassion for others less fortunate then himself. He was a great big brother and pride to his parents, a wonderful son. May God bless you and support you forever, may his arms comfort you all.
My thoughts and my prayers are with your family
Love, Nancy Lanza.

Scott and my son grew up together. I coached against him in LL and watched him grow up through HS and beyond. He was always a force on the field and a true gentle, respectful young boy and young man off the field. I still see his smile when he made a great play. God bless you Scott.

I was a class mate of Scotty's at RHS and I knew his brother Jonathan. Even years later, I always remembered him fondly especially from our time in Challenges of Democracy class. However, the most memorable thing I remember about Scotty was the sweet, gentle and tender relationship he shared with his brother Jonathan. Sending love and positive energy to family, friends and loved ones.

Scott and I were teammates in Twitter Baseball for several years. He was an incredibly warm and compassionate person, with a very laid back personality and fantastic sense of humor. More than just one of the best athletes in our league, he was an extremely caring friend and wonderful listener. The news of Scott's passing is extraordinarily shocking and painful. I will miss him greatly, and I wish nothing but peace and loving memories for his family and friends.
