Mrs Schober was one of the kindest and lovely people I have ever known. Growing up, she treated me like a son. Camping trips, vacations, church activities were all part of her family. Mrs. Schober always made sure there was a present under the Christmas tree. And a place at their table for family and holiday meals. As I was also welcome by Mr. Schober and their extended family.
She and my mom yelled as loud for me as she did for Mark at our wrestling matches. She also was our Cub Scout den mother, and taught us practical lessons that were fun.
I know we haven't been in touch recently, but it was nice to know that she was there.
She was proud of her family and her church. She gave her love and her energy to both family and friends. She also taught me to look for the common thread that brought people together, not what separated.
She will be missed

Our deepest condolences to the Schober family. The love between Rudy and Marilyn was apparent to all and we remember that well, and while we would all rather have both here on Earth, they are together forever in God's love in Heaven.
In sympathy,
James and Patricia Lutfy

My very sincere sympathy to Marilyn's family. She had a wonderful life and now is with her beloved family who passed away before her. Her parents were best friends of my parents so I have known Marilyn 'forever'. and have many wonderful memories of her and her family. I know she was very musically talented, as was her mother. She occasionally played the organ in our church, First Congregational Christian Church in Irvington where they were members for many years. My regret now is that I neglected to follow through on my thoughts to call her more often and it has been a while since I did. May memories remain with her family as they remember a life so well lived.
