It is so sad to hear that Bill was taken by cancer at a relatively young age. He was such a character; we Uptegrove girls always wanted to hear what he was up to from my father, or Granma (Margaret Uptegrove). To me he was always a swashbuckling sort, adventurous,and warm-hearted always. He will live on in my thoughts, but I will miss his presence in our family.
