I knew Lou from living in Bernardsville and from playing baseball with him in Men's League. He was a great guy, kind, considerate, and honorable in all the ways a man cane be. He was a great ball player, catcher, and I had the honor of pitching with him as catcher. He was like an older bother and coach, always level headed but at the same time competitive. I was saddened to hear recently of his passing, seems way to young. You were a great guy, Lou.

Hi
We all loved Lou! He is now safe, healthy, and happy serving in God's heavenly kingdom.
I was telling Mary in a card of all the wonderful family gatherings; so much fun - all of us little italian cousins running around for the football or running from the baseball or maybe even trying to bat it!
Lou was always so kind and gentle - until one day I had to play football with him and my dad. Ouch!
Frank was uniquely gifted playing the accordion; and grandma and grandpa's house was filled with the joyful music.
It is my prayer for each and every one of you for your salvation, if you have not already done so, to accept Jesus Christ to be your Lord and savior for the rest of your life; to believe what he has done for you at the cross;
that you are willing to give up your own ways and live for him now and eternally.
Immediately you will have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit will be indwelled inside you forever, ensuring eternal life with God.
It is called being re-born again spiritually of God.
The Bible says salvation is by God's grace through faith (trust) alone in Jesus Christ without anything added to it. No works, no religion, nothing.
The only works that you would do is given to you by the power of the Holy Spirit (God's spirit). The HS transforms your thoughts, behaviors, etc. to the ones who have received Jesus as their Lord and savior.
Please read in the Bible such as the ESV or NIV bibles the Gospel of John. Please read all of the book of Romans also.
May God's peace be with you and i pray that your faith will grow in Jesus.

Our condolences on the passing of Louie Ferrante. He was always a good friend of the McLachlans when we lived in Bernardsville. He also made sure my father Hughie got a proper send off by the BFD when he passed in 2013 . For this I will always be indebted to Lou. Extremely sorry for your loss .

To my cousin and friend Lou:
On June 15, 1958, at the age of 10, you and your brother Frank, served as altar boys for my parents' wedding at OLPH. 50 years later, on May 24, 2008, you lead our family and friends in our Invocation as we happily gathered to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. Aunt Rose and Uncle Ernie, myself, my brother Dave and his wife Dawn, my sister Rosanne and her husband Tim and their daughters, Jessica and Laura, were so pleased that you were there on the day of their marriage and again on the day we celebrated their very special milestone event. Two of countless family events through the years in which you participated and made more fun. Many, many fond memories!
Thank you Lou for always making the time and for helping.
May The Lord God rest your soul and may Eternal Light shine upon you. RIP.
You will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Lou's passing. I enjoyed many years in the high school at Bernards and traveling often to visit the middle school seeing Lou's great smile. He was always kind and quite a wonderful teacher to all of his students.
Lou will be missed by us all.
