Obituary of Elizabeth F Quinn

Elizabeth F. Quinn (also known as Liz and Betty), 75, of Basking Ridge, passed away surrounded by family on Monday, April 10, 2017, at Morristown Medical Center. All that know her, remember her for her humility and selflessness. She was born in New York City. She graduated from Cathedral High School in Manhattan and Queens College. Afterwards, she worked for the Federal Reserve Bank in NYC, Bankers Trust in NYC, Sweezey's in Long Island, Annis & Anthony in Bernardsville, and most recently Ridge Oak Senior Housing in Basking Ridge. A 33-year resident of Basking Ridge, she was a much-loved mother and wife. She loved flowers, animals, Christmas, and taking care of her 4 children and 17 grand-children. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Edwin W. Quinn, her sister Marian, and beloved children Edwin W. Quinn Jr., Robert J. Quinn, Joan M. Duemler, and John E. Quinn. Visitation will be on Monday, April 17, at the Gallaway & Crane Funeral Home in Basking Ridge from 2-4pm and from 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be at 11:30 on Tuesday, April 18, at St. James Church in Basking Ridge, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge.
