My prayers are extended to the family. Losing a loved one is always difficult. Bob and I worked together from 1982-1987, and then I returned to the library organization when he decided to retire in 1991. I always appreciated his good humor and doigged determination when he was on a mission. I will always appreciate his loyalty to our field and his willingness to take on new challenges, especially divestiture from 1982-1985.
We had many fruitful discussions, and he valued my opinions. He now can focus on his reunion with his beloved wife.
