Obituary of Cecil Oren Glover

Cecil Oren Glover passed away Sunday, October 24, 2010, at Fellowship Village, in Basking Ridge, N.J. Cecil was born in 1924 in Duncan's Bridge, Missouri. He lived in Chatham, NJ for 34 years before moving to Basking Ridge. He served as a ball gunner on a B24 during WWII, and on his 29th mission was captured and held as a POW in Germany. He later graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute. He was employed by Southwestern Bell and AT&T for 42 years. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Frances, four daughters, Lisa Lee, Ann Vopelius, Loa Kay Welles, and Janet Stanard, and 11 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Fellowship Village, 8000 Fellowship Rd, Basking Ridge, NJ at 1:00pm Saturday, October 30.
