Obituary of Nicholas Cavaluzzo

Nicholas Cavaluzzo, 83, of Bernardsville passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Morristown Memorial Hospital after a short illness. He was born in Bernardsville and was a lifelong resident. He was an avid gardener, sharing his crops with the neighbors. He proudly served His Country in the U.S. Navy Seabees during World War II. He was a Production Manager for MCI Optonix, Cedar Knolls, NJ retiring in 1996. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7858 and a communicant Of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, both located in Bernardsville. He is survived by his wife Margaret (Zajicek) Cavaluzzo; two sons, Gary of Bernardsville, Nicholas (Linda) Cavaluzzo of Hillsborough; three daughters, Jane (Jory) Baronet of Washington Township; Patricia (Phil) Hopper of San Carlos, Ca., and Leslie (Glenn) Otto of Whitehouse Station, NJ. He was the proud grandpa to 7 grandsons and 1 great-grandson. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 1, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Chapel, Bernards Ave., Bernardsville.
