I came to know Rita this year through our weekly telephone conversations. She impressed me so much with her vivacity, spirit, and sense of adventure. We had similar backgrounds and shared a love of music, travel, and love of literature. I shall dearly miss our conversations. She was a lovely and impressive lady in all ways possible. My sincerest condolences to the family.
