My sweet Roseann, Michael Sr., Lisa, Michael Jr., Connie, and Aunt Catherine -- Please know that I am keeping all of you close in my heart and thoughts. Oh my! What another stunning shock! I am so sorry that Uncle Julie has left us, and gone to join Connie's Frank, Uncle Frank, Connie's twin sister and Aunt Catherine's sister, and his parents in heaven. As I've been so fortunate to be part of your family for almost nine years, I've watched how each and every one of you, including Connie's Frank, have willingly and lovingly, in your own individual ways, taken care of Uncle Julie. That is certainly a testament to the strong bonds of family, but more importantly, it is a testament to how you all view the importance of family. And, I've only witnessed a small portion -- nine years -- of the lifetime of care you've given to Uncle Julie. I admire and love your family so much for your devotion and love of each other, and for that which you've extended to me. Right now, I am imagining Uncle Julie in heaven, running through fields of wild flowers, free of his wheelchair, singing and speaking so that everyone can understand him clearly. It's a beautiful day in heaven for Uncle Julie! I hope your happy memories of Uncle Julie sustain you in the difficult times ahead. I love you all.
