Devoted Family Man
LeRoy Wildey, 84, passed away September 3, 2010 in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.
He was born in Morristown and lived in Pequannock Twp and Bloomingdale, before settling in Basking Ridge 47 years ago.
Roy worked for and retired from Tingley Rubber Company as a District Sales Manager. He was also an active member of Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church where he held many different positions.
Roy is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marty, lovingly known to Roy as "Shorty." He is also survived by sons, Steven Roy Wildey of Basking Ridge, Gary Michael Wildey of Cleveland Heights, Ohio and daughter Sharon Lee Coury of Dallas, Texas, grandchildren, Jessica Hope Wildey, Jennifer Davila, Joshua Wildey, Eli Wildey, Bennett Wildey, Nicole Coury, & Danielle Coury. He is also survived by his brother Herbert Cornelius Wildey of Washington State.
Roy was a devoted family man. He was an extraordinary handyman, and was best known for his ability to start a conversation and create lasting friendships.
Services will be held on Friday, September 10th at 11AM at the Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery.
