Dear Claire,
I am sorry to learn of Tom's untimely death. I have fond remembrances of Tom from our days at St. Mike's particularly as members of the Crown and Sword Society. Tom always had a smile on his face, a warm welcome for all and was a first class gentleman at all times.
God Bless him and may he rest in peace. You are both in my thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Brian Marcelonis

I am heartbroken to hear of the loss of Mr. Picone. Although I have only met him a hand full of times, the love and care he had for his family was beyond evident and only amplified in speaking with his children.
My connection is through his daughter Katie, who sang praises of him and her devotion during the best and worst of times was inspiring to say the least. As my family has suffered a terrible and tragic loss recently, I can share in the feeling of a void that is almost impossible to fill. The comfort will be in ensuring his legacy never dies and carries on with present and future generations.
Extending my love to the entire Picone family,
Andrew

Claire and Picone Family,
I am very sad to hear of Tom’s passing. He was a friend and colleague and a very positive example and friend to many. It was an honor to know and work with him.
In the late 1990’s Pharmacia recruiters tried three times to get me to apply for open positions. I turned down the first two attempts. On the third, the recruiter simply asked whether I would at least consider a dinner with Tom while at the upcoming LES meeting – how could I turn down a dinner with Tom? It was a very enjoyable evening with a minimal sales pitch on Pharmacia but when it ended I knew that working with Tom would be great. I joined Pharmacia 3 months later.
He will be missed, but his presence has left a very positive mark in the world through all of the people that he touched. God bless him. My prayers and Karen’s are with you.

I am sorry to learn about Tom's passing after his accomplishing so much. We were colleagues at Ross/Abbott long ago, and I knew then that he would be successful wherever he went or whatever he would do.
Please accept my sincere condolences for Tom. He did much more than many of us ever could.
Please RIP Tom.

Dear Claire and family,
My condolences to all of you.
Tom set an example for all of us in pharma business development and licensing. He was always calm and straightforward. He was a generous and patient teacher of those new to our profession.
I always enjoyed my interactions with Tom and I looked up to him for the many ways he gave back to our profession.

Clair, Michael, Kate and Bob:
My heart goes out to all of you as you as you deal with the passing of Tom. Please know, my "big" cousin Tom was someone everyone looked up to and admired. We all knew that he was a special person. He always took the time to find out what other's were up to, what your kids were up to and how was life going. He took a genuine interest in everyone who he came in contact with. There was never a time we did not enjoy being together and for that my family and I are forever grateful. Our memories will always be positive and upbeat just as Tom lived his life. He will be sorely missed as he made a great impact on this world.
Our deepest sympathies,
Bob and Sheri Trocchi and kids.
