Obituary of John Wolf

John F. Wolf, 69, of Bedminster, N.J. died on March 9, 2015 at Morristown Medical Center after complications following his 3rd abdominal aortic aneurysm repair surgery. His Daughter and best friend were by his side. A celebration of John's life will be held at Radical Motor Sports of New Jersey, 815 Route 17 South, Ramsey, NJ 07446, November 22nd 2pm. A Reception will follow at the Mason Jar Mahwah ,NJ. John was born in Newark, NJ on September 19th, 1945, the son of the late John F. and Stella M. Wolf. He resided in Newark, NJ, Fords, NJ, North Plainfield, NJ, Westfield, NJ, and Bedminster NJ. He served in the NJ National Guard and was a graduate of Rider University. John chose a career in sales, he got a great start at IBM and worked at many companies in the data and telecommunications industry. He loved creating the deal, he thrived in the challenge of making it happen. Retirement or slowing down was not in his game plan, he was still working at his time of death. John was truly happy behind the wheel of one of his cars. The love affair was lifelong staring with Nash Metropolitans, a corvette, many Volkswagen beetles, BMWs, his Alfa Romeo, and his Porsche. He loved all kind of auto racing especially F1. If it had 4 wheels he wanted to talk about it. John's favorite place was Long Beach Island NJ. He loved spending time boating, fishing, and on the beach with his friends there. Later in life John was blessed with 2 grandchildren. They were the light of his life. Being a Pop Pop was his greatest and most treasured accomplishment. John is predeceased by his 2 brothers, Robert and Raymond Wolf. John is survived by his 2 beloved grandchildren Otey and Victoria, his daughter and son-in-law, Amy E. and Peter O. Ward III of Providence, R.I., his sister Sandra L. Wolf of Fords, his brother Michael A. Wolf of Atco, his sister-in-law, Cathy Cullum of Woodbridge, and his niece and nephews Michael Jr., Kristin, Robert. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Market Street Mission in Morristown, N.J.
