Obituary of Terry Trott

Terry Trott, beloved wife of 60 years of Robert M. Trott, passed away on Saturday, October 24. She was born in New York City, NY on October 30, 1927, the daughter of the late Sadie (Lafkowitz) and Joseph Cohen, formerly of Poland and Russia. Mrs. Trott lived in Ridgefield for 27 years before moving to Hallandale Beach, FL, where she and her husband resided for 25 years before moving with her husband in 2014 to Basking Ridge, NJ to be closer to family. She attended and graduated from Seward Park High School. She worked at Prentice Hall Publishing for 16 years. She was a Committee Woman in Ridgefield, NJ and while in Florida, she and her husband were members of the "Mr. and Mrs Club" and the "Shalom Club". She also loved to knit and was a dedicated "family" mom. She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Martin Trott, her daughter and son-in-law, Jill Ellen Jacques and Bill Thomas Jacques of Watchung, NJ, her son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell Jayson Trott and Donna (Dimler) Trott of East Stroudsburg, PA, a sister, Sylvia Cohen of New York City, NY, and pre-deceased by her loving brothers, Nathan Cohen and Sidney Cohen, her 4 grandchildren: Sara Beth Jacques, Brandon Keith Jacques, Russell Kevin Jacques and Trevor Nathanial Trott in addition to many nephews and nieces. A private memorial service will be held at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home in Basking Ridge, NJ.
