Although we didn't know Sue very long, she was always a wonderful and warm person to everyone. Her caring shows in all three of her children as well as her grandchildren and great granddaughter. She will forever go on in spirit to watch over you and keep you safe.
With condolences,
Keith and Ro

Wish we could be with you today, but we are thinking of your Mom and your family, and sending you our prayers.
Sue was so wonderful to the entire Hannon family and to me in particular. I couldn't have asked for a more devoted and loving Godmother. At just about every special event in my youth, your mother was there offering her unconditional love and support. She even came up to West Point to give me special treats during my trying Plebe year. Sue attended many of my concert performances, my high-school graduation, my wedding in Wyoming to Bethany, as well as many other signature events in my life made more memorable by your mother's loving presence.
Bethany and I are so sorry for your loss, but we hope that you will find some solace knowing that Sue is now with your Dad, and my mother and father in heaven.
Much love to the entire Brown family,
Jim, Bethany, Amelia, and Mary Hannon

Sue and Bob Brown were second parents to me. I loved going to their house on the times that we were to celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. We even got to be a part of Winter Park and the fun they had there. The best part of all was getting to know them as an adult and appreciating their love of life. It has been great knowing the Brown's my whole life.
Sue was my mother's best friend. They would talk on the phone for hours! As a young girl I remember them giggling together or tripping up stairs and everyone thought that they had too many Manhattan's but I knew it was just that they were happy to be together.
In the past few years it has been difficult to watch our mothers grow old but any time there was an occassion that Kathryn and I could get them together, we did. (Kathryn did a lot more recently!) I am so glad that Sue was here for the past few parties we had that were important in our family while my mother was still alive. It meant a lot to both of them.
Sue was a wonderful woman who loved her family, loved her friends and was always interested in everything that was going on. I love Sue and will miss her but thank goodness her children will carry on her legacy. She will be missed!

My association with Sue reaches back more than 35 years. As luck would have it, Katherine invited her friend Sally Hannon to visit friends in Stone Harbor, NJ three and a half decades ago. Sally became the love of my life within six short months. Over the years I have grown to love this family as my own. Sue, always an engaging lovely hostess would provide the best food and with Bob creating the finest cocktails, what could go wrong? She leaves behind a women I owe my joy to. The boys are just fine however....
Sally and I share these thoughts and know that Sue is being well cared for in Heaven.

Dear Kathy and Family, My condolences to you on the loss of Sue. She was such a lovely lady, always with a smile on her face. I enjoyed getting to know Sue through Plaid House over the years, and I loved seeing you both having fun at the annual Card Party every October. She will be missed by so many. Prayers for you at this time. Sincerely, Beth Pfaff Chester NJ
