Obituary of Paul M Lopez

Paul M. Lopez, aged 53, of Millington, New Jersey passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Born to Amadeo and Leondina Lopez Freijo on July 10, 1961 in Havana, Cuba. He was raised in Madrid, Spain before moving to Jersey City, NJ. Paul attended St. Peter's Preparatory School in Jersey City and graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Economics. He worked for HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. as a Senior VP and Director of Securities Industries Broker Dealer. He was hardworking and very well respected in the industry. Paul is an avid runner and enjoyed watching his kid's playing sports. He is also a big science fiction movie fan. Paul is survived by his wife Dulce of 27 years, his three children, who are his greatest pride and joy, Jade, Lauren, and Christopher. His three surviving brothers; Manolo of Jersey City, Amadeo of Madrid, Spain, Jose Luis of Weehawken and a sister, Alicia Portieles of Park Ridge. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in law and many nieces and nephews. Paul always has a smile on his face and was kind to everyone he met. He was an inspiration to his family, friends and colleagues. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. Visitation is on Friday, April 10, 2015 from 4-8pm at St. James Church Chapel, 184 South Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, NJ. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015, 10:00am at St. James Church. Interment will be private.
