Obituary of Frank Ansede

Frank Ansede of Basking Ridge, New Jersey passed away peacefully at the age of 75 on Friday, March 20, 2015 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015, 11:00am, at St. James Church, 184 S. Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge NJ 07920. Interment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Basking Ridge. Frank was born to the late Frank and Rose (Ruggerio) Ansede and was a lifelong resident of Basking Ridge, NJ. After attending school, he started his career as an electrician and in 1965 formed Basking Ridge Electric. As an active member of the community, he was involved in the town youth sports programs including wrestling, Pop Warner football and Little League baseball where he coached the 1981 Basking Ridge Little League State Champions. Frank enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Holidays were always a special time for him, being surrounded by family. He also enjoyed vacations with his wife and friends, spending time at his house at the Jersey shore, visiting his grandchildren in North Carolina or just hanging out at his shop on Stonehouse Road. Frank will be dearly missed by his wife of 53 years, Barbara Ansede; sons and daughter-in-laws, Frank and Michele Ansede, John and Heather Ansede; daughter, Barbara Rose Ansede; grandchildren Logan, Tucker, Lucas, Cole and Addison. Also survived by his two brothers John and Karine Ansede of Mendham, NJ, and Richard and Cindy Ansede of Rancho Sante Fe, CA.
