Obituary of Mary A Navin

Mary A. Navin, 85, mother of 7, grandmother of 15 Mary A. Navin, 85, died peacefully at the Bryan Manor in Gladstone, NJ on March 13th after a long illness. The oldest child of John and Ann Lang, Mary was born in Chicago Illinois on April 3, 1929. She grew up in Madison Wisconsin, married her high school sweetheart, and moved to Bernardsville, NJ in 1963. She is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, William J. Navin, in 2003. She is survived by her children, Jeanne Fantina (David) of Bernardsville, Margaret Jadin (Jeffrey) of New York City, Nancy Navin of Bernardsville, Patricia Navin of Arlington, Virginia, Joseph Navin (Valerie) of Atlanta, Georgia, Thomas Navin (Margaret) of Great Falls, Virginia, and Therese Dalton (Christopher) of New Providence. She is also survived her many grandchildren, Andrew & John Paul Fantina, Sarah & David Jadin, Danyele Greenfield, Alyssa, Alanna, Alec, Ava, & Ruby Scarlet Navin, Elizabeth, Madeline, & Claire Navin, and Grace & Vivian Dalton. She was predeceased by her sister, Jean Haas, and her brother, John G. Lang, Jr. and is survived by her sister, Kathryn Lang, of Madison, Wisconsin. Until her final illness she had been a daily communicant of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Bernardsville. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 111 Claremont Road, Bernardsville, NJ, 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge.
