Obituary of Dolores T Condon

Dolores Theresa Condon, 77, died Thursday, January 8, 2015 at her Basking Ridge home with her family by her side. Dolores was born May 6, 1937 in Newark, NJ to Peter and Mary Bieksha. Dolores worked at Seton Hall University from 1974 until 2004, serving many years as an Administrative Assistant to the Dean. She was an active member of the choir at both Sacred Heart Church in Vailsburg and Saint James Church in Basking Ridge.Dolores enjoyed crocheting and knitting and will be remembered for the beautiful blankets she made for the babies of her family and friends; for the babies supported by Blankets of Blessings at the church; for the afghans she crocheted for the college bound children of family and friends; and the lap blankets she donated to Morristown Memorial Hospital. Dolores is survived by her children: Karen Bayeux of Basking Ridge, NJ, Brian Condon and daughter-in-law, Debbie Fagan of Flemington, NJ; four grandchildren: Corey, Katie, John and Patrick; Brother, Peter Bieksha and sister-in-law, Connie Bieksha. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis, her sister, Anna Stotz, and son-in-law, John Bayeux. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at the Church of St. James, 184 South Finley Ave., Basking Ridge, NJ at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 South Finley Ave., Basking Ridge, NJ on Monday, January 12, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in loving memory of Dolores to the American Cancer Society.
