Ruth Degutis, 89, of Basking Ridge, NJ, passed away on Wednesday July 28, 2010 at her home. Born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ, Ruth moved to Basking Ridge in 1955. She is pre deceased by her husband of 40 years Anthony Degutis. Surviving are her son Duane of Patterson, NY and daughter Alison and her husband Thomas Petersen, of Basking Ridge, NJ and two grandchildren Gillian and Alexandria Petersen. A graveside service will be held on Saturday July 31, 2010 at 10:30am at the Somerset Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
