"Hey Cody can you help me...." or "Cody, I need someone to..." and his response would ALWAY be - "Sure, I can help...." or "Absolutely, I will ....." That's who Cody was, someone who always put others first before himself.
Anyone who know Cody should consider himself/herself very fortunate because you will NEVER find anyone else like him again in your life. Cody always saw the 'good' in people and always saw a situation as 'half-full.'
He lit up my daughter's eyes. He was her best friend. He was a wonderful asset to our family. We will miss him terribly.
I know he is cancer-free and pain-free now. He is whole. He is happy with God. Heaven is truly lucky to have one of the BEST angels EVER amongst them.
Cody, you will forever be remembered. Thank you for all you did for me. Thanks for the memories. Thank you most of all for being part of my daughter's life and making her the happiest she has ever been.
Thinking of you and smiling BIG!
Chris :)

Tracy, our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy for your loss. Cody will always be with you in your heart and in your thoughts. No words can ever help ease the pain that you are experiencing at this time. Take comfort in the fact that he is now free of his earthly pain and suffering and has been welcomed home, by Jesus, to his heavenly reward. Allow Cody's spirit to be alive in yourself as a way to always remember him. Your angel will always be with you, as mine is with me!

Alex was a brilliant young man who I only knew for a short period of time. We started at Cerner together at the same time. He was always insightful and had a good heart. Rest in Peace.

Cody Schuler was a man who held his family, friendships, and fraternity in the highest regard. Through hardship, Cody remained positive and optimistic and relied on the vast support structure of people in his life. He sacrificed constantly in service to others and inspired his fraternity brothers to constantly reach higher and do more. In Cody's words, "Life will blindside you, but we have each other. Together, we can get through anything." He will always be loved and missed.

I had the great pleasure of working with Cody for a short time while he was at Cerner, and I can truly say that his was a life lost far too soon. Cody was a kind, smart, loving man, and was passionate about all that he did. Though he only touched my life for a short time, I know that I was truly influenced by him, and that my life will be better in the long run because I knew him. To those that he loved and that loved him, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you in this hard time, and remember that although Cody's life was short, he lived it to the fullest.

Cody and I started at Cerner and sat next to each other at the front of the room every day in training. He was full of information and never ceased to share it to help others. We lost a great "Cerner Learner". ("Cerner Learner" was one of our team names we used during group exercises).

Gail and family,
Words cannot really express what you are going through right now. I didn't know Cody personally, but through my friendship with Gail and our conversations together,I came to know both her boys. I did come to learn that Cody was a kind, loving and endearing young man who had to brave all the physical pain he had to face. My heart goes out to you and your family.

My condolences to the Schuler family. We may find that our hearts are weighted down, when we lose someone we love. May it help you to know that Isaiah 33:24 says: No resident will say: "I am sick". Please focus on knowing that this mean, soon we want worry about losing our loved ones to death because of sickness. Yes it will be a thing of the pass, never to return. Please find some strength and comfort from this, in your great time of need.
