Obituary of Karl J Reimer
Karl Reimer of Lake Ariel PA formerly of Stirling and Piscataway, NJ died on Friday Nov. 21,2014. He was born in Jersey City on March 10, 1937 to Otto Leon and Rose Reimer. Karl graduated from Union High School and earned a degree from RCA technical school in NYC. He was employed by NJ Bell as a manager in the test bureau. He met and married Marie Kocerha on Feb. 10,1962. Karl and Marie spent 52 devoted years together creating a home and raising their three sons Douglas, Kenneth and Gregory. He proudly served in the US Naval Reserves during the Korean War. He was a boy scout leader and very involved in Little League baseball. Karl spent lots of quality time with his family at Lake Wallenpaupack and in Florida. He enjoyed classic cars, traveling, working on cars, home repair, politics, finance and reading. His grandchildrens presence , pictures, hugs, kisses, and their words, "I love you" were welcomed and reciprocated. He is survived by his loving wife Marie, sons Douglas Reimer, wife Renee their children Abigail, Sarah and Lydia. Kenneth Reimer wife Alicia their children Jacob and Andrew. Gregory Reimer wife Jill and their children Amanda, Olivia, and Kaitlyn.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 4:00 - 6:30 PM at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, NJ. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 6:30 PM at the funeral home.
