Obituary of Donna D Preziosi

Donna Preziosi of Basking Ridge passed away on Monday, November, 10, 2014 at Morristown Medical Center. She was born in Newark, NJ and raised her family in Mountainside, NJ for over 30 years before settling in Basking Ridge. She was a stay at home mom and loved spending time with her children and nine grandchildren. One of Donna's many passions was cooking for her family and she was famous for her Christmas Eve dinners. Some of her other interests included shopping, painting and drawing Donna is predeceased by her loving husband Albert Preziosi of 51 years in 2006, and recently her sister, Gaile Iovine Astorino. She is survived by her children Chris Preziosi and wife Kate of Mendham, NJ, Debra Dal Lago and husband Frank of Bernardsville, NJ, and Albert Preziosi and wife Lisa of Warren, NJ. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren Christopher and Nicholas Preziosi, Frank, Jamie, and Michael Dal Lago, Albert, Brandon, Nicole, and Gabriela Preziosi and her brother Joseph Iovine. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101, South Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge NJ, from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 14, 2014 at St. James Church, 184 South Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, NJ, 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Goryeb's Childrens Hospital, 100 Madison Avenue, Morristown, NJ.
