Karen was an amazing lady. I met her 20 years ago when she taught my second grade class. I knew then that she was someone I wanted in my life forever, and we stayed close all those years. As I got older, I had the privilege of calling her my friend... even though in reality she was more like family to me. Words will never properly express my love and gratitude for everything she did for me throughout my life. I will miss her every day.
Geoff, my heart aches for you. I send you all my love and prayers. <3

Dear Geoff, Paul and Richard,
I am Karen's cousin who has been a missionary in Latin America for over 30 years.
Am now in the USA visiting with my sister Anne Simpson in Southbridge, MA. We just heared about Karen's death after over a year and a half. I was very surprised with this news and want to offer my condolences to each of you and your families. Even though we have been out of contact over the years I still remember Karen and both of you, Paul and Richard. Aunt Helen and Uncle Bob were always very dear to us. I did not have the opportunity to know you, Geoff, but pray for you and your family.
With sympathy,
Janice
p.s. Aunt Mary Canty, Karen's mother's sister ,also sends her coondolences. She will be 90 years old in September.

Dear Geoff, Paul + Richard,
I just heard today of the passing of my cousin Karen on Oct. 11, 2014. I am so very saddened to find out this news. My mother, Beatrice, was the sister of Helen, Karen's mother. She was also Karen's Godmother. Our family loved Karen and her brothers, Paul + Richard. We have fond memories of Karen and the boys from childhood.
Aunt Mary, Karen's aunt, and Helen's only remaining sibling, wants me to extend her condolences to Geoff and her nephews also.
We will keep Karen in our prayers and in our hearts. Wishing all of you peace.
Love, Cousin Anne from Massachusetts
