Obituary of Joseph P Bradley

Joseph P. Bradley, 41, of Stirling NJ , passed on Thursday, October 9, 2014. Joseph was born to Genevieve Heslin and the late Cornelius Bradley, Dec. 11, 1972, in Belleville, NJ. Joseph graduated from Kearny High School in 1992. Joseph earned a BA in psychology from Rutgers University of Newark. Joseph graduated Summa Cum Laude with college honors and was a lifetime member of Phi Beta Kappa. He was currently working towards his doctoral Ph.D from Rutgers University with aspirations to enter the field of Bio psychology, specifically in academics and research. Joseph was an active member of the masonic lodge in Congdon-Overlook (lodge #163). He served as a worthy brother for the brotherhood for over 10 years. Joseph is survived by his wife, Valerie Bradley, Daughter Lillian Pires, Mother Genevieve Heslin, Step Father Kevin Heslin, sister Jennifer Lopez, Grandmother Ina Bradley, his nephews Patrick Triano, Joshua Lopez , and Jacob Bradley. Brothers in law Angel Lopez, Jim Devaney, and Keith Devaney, Mother in law Naomi Devaney. Joseph was a loving husband; father, brother, son and uncle. He had an extreme passion about making a difference in the lives of every person he came in contact with. Joseph was a friend, a scholar, a joy, and a blessing to everyone who had the honor of having him in their life. May his story, his smile, his sense of humor and his wisdom live on until the day we all meet in paradise. Until then, may you shine on. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to Valery Bradley. Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, NJ from 6:00 – 7:30 pm. Masonic Service will follow at 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
