Obituary of Frank A Pietrucha

Frank A. Pietrucha, 88, most recently of Bethlehem, PA, passed away on the morning of Monday, Sept. 1, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenburg, Bethlehem, PA. Visitation will be at the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Ave., Basking Ridge, NJ, on Friday, September 5, at 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. James Roman Catholic Church at 184 S. Finley Ave, on Saturday, Sept. 6, at 10:00 am. Born in Newark, N.J., Frank lived in Irvington, NJ, West Orange, NJ and Basking Ridge, NJ, before moving to Bethlehem, PA, in late 2013. He was for many years a self-employed art director and always a fine artist who participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions. He was an Elected Member of the New Jersey Water Color Society, a veteran of the United States Army during World War II, a member of American Legion Leiut. George Pietrucha Post, Bloomfield, NJ, named after his brother, and the Polish University. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (nee Bol), his daughter, Diane Fischer and husband James Fischer, his daughter Denise Tortora and husband Anthony Tortora, his son Frank and partner John McGaw; his brother Peter C. Pietrucha and wife Jeanette, his sister, Jeannette Rospond, his brother, Father Edward Pietrucha, and his grandchildren, Christopher and Lindsey Tortora.
