Obituary of Elizabeth J Ficuciello

Elizabeth J. Ficuciello [nee Cahill], 85, died on July 27, 2014, surrounded by her family at her sister's home in Palm Coast, FL. Born in Elizabeth, N.J., she was a 1947 graduate of Battin High School and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Women's Army Corps {WAC} during the Korean War. She attended the Latin American Institute in NY and Georgetown University in Washington, DC. She retired from Hooper Holmes Corporation in 2007 after 25 years of distinguished service. Mrs. Ficuciello was predeceased by a daughter, Patricia A. Novak, who died in 1996. She is survived by a son, Christopher Ficuciello of Longmont, CO, two daughters, Susan Ficuciello, of Basking Ridge, NJ and Ann Marie Ficuciello, of Gillette, NJ and four grandchildren, Elizabeth, Keith, Zachary, and Haylee. She is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law, James and Marjorie Cahill of East Stroudsburg, PA, a sister, Carol Flavhan of Palm Coast, FL, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Mrs. Ficuciello was predeceased by a sister, Ruth Cahill, and former husband, Frank Ficuciello. Visitation will be at the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, on Saturday, August 9th from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Veteran's Section of Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge, NJ.
