Obituary of Mildred Ahalt

Mildred (Mickey) Ahalt passed away at her home on April 6, 2014. Mickey was extremely devoted to her family and loved spending time with them as much as possible. She was well known for being a giver with a generous heart. Mickey enjoyed traveling and had the opportunity to see many places with her husband, children, and grandchildren. As an avid golf player, she was able to play golf even in her later years. Mickey is survived by her husband of 65 years, Gordon Ahalt. She was the mother of three children: Gordon J. Ahalt of Seattle, Washington, Paula J. Patrick of Santa Barbara, California, and Marion R. Gaydos of Basking Ridge, New Jersey. Mickey also had seven grandchildren: Gordon M. and John H. Ahalt, Conor J. and Austin D. Patrick, Kasey A., Alex J., and Chris J. Gaydos. Visitation for Mickey will be held on Thursday April 10, 2014 from 5 to 7pm at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 South Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, NJ. A Memorial service will be held on Friday April 11, 2014, 11am at St. Mark's Episcopal Church on 140 South Finley Avenue in Basking Ridge, NJ with a lunch to follow.
