Obituary of William Larkin

On April 1, 2014, William (Bill) Larkin, 75, passed away to join his recently departed wife Rebecca. Bill is survived by his son Billy Larkin and his wife Jennifer; daughter Aileen Carr and her husband Greg; daughter MaryBeth Dougherty and her husband Pat; and his 7 grandchildren – Billy, Emily, Caroline, Nolan, Patrick, Mitchell, and Tricia. Bill was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all. Although Bill had a long and successful career with the telephone companies until he retired in the 90's, he found reward in the simple things in life. He loved going to the park, golf, the sun on his face, the breeze in the trees, the sound of crashing waves, a cold beer, and an occasional cigar. But most of all, Bill enjoyed, and found peace in, the chatter and laughter of his kids and grandchildren. On Friday, April 4th, Funeral Services for Bill will be held at St. James Church in Basking Ridge at 11 am. Immediately following, Bill will be laid to rest alongside his beloved wife of 51 years.
