Mrs. Gilpin was always very kind and thoughtful towards our family. She always had a cheerful hello for you and a smile to go with it. She would stop to chat ask about the boys and how they were doing and tell me where she was going off too, usually going to pick up her girlfriends to go out and about.
Every year Mrs Gilpin would have little goodie bags a couple times a year for the kids and hand deliver them. She said the boys were entertaining to watch grow up outside her window. Im sure they provided hours of laughter since they are boys and very active. I enjoyed our chats in the Spring and Summer time while watering flowers and pulling a few weeds. I will think of her every Spring, she was a one of a kind and will be missed.
