GRACE M FISHER, 81, died peacefully on May 9. Jim, her loving husband of 57 years, was by her side. Grace grew up in Bergen County and met her husband-to-be in grammar school. She graduated from St Mary's High School in Rutherford, attended Roanoke College, and, reflecting her life-long love of media, worked at Mutual Broadcasting System in New York before marrying Jim in 1953. Grace and Jim moved many times for Jim's career at American Cyanamid and lived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Cheshire, Connecticut, and Wyckoff, New Jersey before settling in Basking Ridge in 1974. Grace is survived by her husband, James J. Fisher; her children Kathleen, James and Janet; her grandchildren Brian Maggiotto, Claire Maggiotto, Declan Feeley, Brogan Feeley, and Charles Fisher; and her sister Nora Claire Clark. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on friday, May 14, 2010, 10:00 AM at The Church of St. James, Basking Ridge, NJ followed by entombment in Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum, Basking Ridge, NJ.
