Obituary of Jean Koza

Mrs. Jean Koza, 101, of Basking Ridge died on Friday, January 10, 2014 at Morris Hills Care Center. Born and raised in Elizabeth, Jean also lived in Toms River before moving to The Ridge Oak Senior Community in Basking Ridge in 1990. Mrs. Koza worked as a secretary for 19 years at Schlumberger in Newark before retiring in 1974. Jean was a member of St. James Church and their St. Joachim and Anne Society, along with the Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Bible Study at the Fellowship Deaconry in Liberty Corner. Jean Koza is predeceased by her husband the late Thaddeus F. Koza in 1985. Also predeceased by, Joseph Kozlowski, John Kozlowski, Wanda Pulkonik, Adele Rajkowski and Kenneth Pulkonik. She is survived by her son Rodney T. Koza and his wife Barbara of Basking Ridge, two nephews, John Kozlowski, Jan Kozlowski, and a niece Barbara Tedesco. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at The Church of St. James, 185 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ on Monday Jan. 13, 2014 at 11:00am. Visitation will be held at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ on Sunday Jan 12, 2014 from 1-3pm.
