Obituary of Florance Russo

Florence Russo, 94, of Basking Ridge died on December 19, 2013. She was the loving and devoted mother of her daughter Joann Matarazzo, her son in law Peter Matarazzo, grandson Peter Matarazzo II, great grandson Peter Matarazzo III, and sons Frank and Richard Russo. She left one surviving sister Carmella Maffettone. She was predeceased by her sisters Margaret, Mary, Helen, Jennie and brother Tommy. She loved life, people, laughing, singing, all children, but most of all her family which included her many nieces and nephews and their children. She had a special place in her heart for Joey who she helped care for in his childhood. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2013 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 South Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 23, 2013, 10:00 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Bernardsville, NJ.
