Obituary of Gail Blake

Gail Blake, 71, passed away at Morristown Medical Center on Sept. 14, 2013 surrounded by family and friends. Born in Livingston NJ, Gail attended and graduated from Livingston high School and later Bloomfield College. She has lived in Bernardsville for the last 40 years.  Gail spent the last 30 years as a special education aid in the Somerset Hills School District. She is survived by her three sons, Dexter, Darren, and Dennis, daughter-in-law, Amy, three grandchildren, Barnes, Emma and Henry, and sister Ardyth Grossmann. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 18 from 5-8pm at the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 19, at 11am at St. Bernards Episcopal Church, 88 Claremont Road, Bernardsville, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Gail Blake Memorial Fund (to benefit children with special needs) may be made C/O Blake Sports Group, 61 Claremont Road, Suite 2B, Bernardsville, NJ 07924.   Gail, devoted mother and grandmother, will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
