Phil was a good friend, a mentor at Dickinson College(he was two years ahead of me) and a colleague when he ran Lorimar Productions (“Dallasâ€) and I was at CBS. I'll always have the memories of the great shows we did in college -- and in real life on CBS. He’s been ill for a long time, but it’s still sad to learn of his passing. My deepest sympathies to all the family. m

My heartfelt condolences to the Capice family on the passing of a genuine, generous, accomplished, classy man whom I was privileged to encounter in this life as a friend. Ever patient with this new-hire at Lorimar, Phil was always a gentleman and the epitome of professionalism throughout the eight years we worked together, and I enjoyed our continued correspondence after his retirement. Farewell, my friend. You will be missed. ~Pat

Phil was a great friend and fraternity brother, two years older, who gave all of us in the Dickinson class of 1954 leadership and love. No one in our fraternity will ever forget him.

My sincere condolences to the Capice family. While I did not know Phil on a personal level, nevertheless I admired him for the good work he did on behalf of Dickinson, as well as in his professional career. We all stand a little taller on Phil's shoulders because of his exemplary work and fine modeling of a life well lived. How very blessed we all are to be beneficiaries of Phil's gifts on this earth.

Mr. Capice was a good friend of my father, Lee, and wrote a touching eulogy for his funeral.
He was also a good friend to our family. My mom Helen and all the Currlins send our deepest sympathies.
