Obituary of Arthur E Tutela

Arthur E Tutela, born February 17, 1918 and passed away on Friday September 6, 2013 after a short illness, he was 95 years old. He was the son of Joseph and Anna Tutela, brother to Rose Scarlaville and Jean Campanelli. Arthur was born in Newark, New Jersey and lived in Livingston, NJ for 60 years. He worked for Sears Industry/Consolidated Laundries for 18 years. Arthur was an Army Air Corp Veteran of WWII and served in the South Pacific in 1942. He was married to Christine Molito/Tutela for 55 years before her passing in 2000. He is survived by his children Joseph A Tutela, Diane Tutela/Gallagher, and two grandchildren Jason and Amanda. Artie was known to his family as “grandpa”, he was a mechanic most of his life and loved woodworking and dancing. He was also a member of the Livingston Old Guard. A visitation will be held at the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920 on Monday Sept. 9, 4-7pm. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Sept. 10 at 10:00am at the Church of St. James, 184 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge NJ.
