Jack, to this day I always believe my Growth training was the foundation for not only a successful restaurant career, but coaching tools I carried with me through life. You taught me both, you were a good friend and teacher. You are and always shall be Mr. Growth. RIP

Jack; My brother, my friend and one that I share a common faith and believe with. I will not see you only but for a while because I "know" that you are already at the place our Father has been and is waiting for us with outstretched arms to come home all along.
Remain Blessed my dear brother until we meet again in His presence and Glory.

How do I say my goodbye's to a man that I meet and later became a friend some 15 year ago.
I always took my family to Willies for lunch, dinner and some times just stopped in to say Hi! I was very active in my community and always doing things for Matheny.
Jack, you were always open to my ideas to raise money to help others. When I team up with Matheny he would help with all kinds of food, and he let me bring in music to Willie's to raise funds. It is an honor to call you Jack, my friend. May you Rest in the Arms of Jesus, who you Loved, so much. I will miss you Jack,
Thank you for your being you!
Rest in peace ,
I will miss you..
Judy, and family my prayers are with you at this time of sadness
For your loss
May God bring you grace and peace

Jack touched so many people in his life and we will all grieve his passing. However, we should also celebrate his extraordinary life and that ability to touch so many. The love Jack and Judi had for each other was always present for all to see...that memory will be what we cherish and remember as we think about Jack.

My sincere sympathy to Jack's family. My memories go back to High School days and my brother, Rick Porter and Jack working at the Minute Man. The senior boys when I was a Freshman at Ridge. What a wonderful and successful man he became. Loved eating at The Store.

Dear Judy and Jack's children,
I was heartbroken to learn of the death of my best high school friend, Jack Welch. We had many good and happy times together. EVERYONE liked and respected him and, understandably, those feelings have continued through all these years. Saw him at Willie's Tavern in Bedminster for our class reunion. Always smiling and a truly caring person. It was such an overwhelming shock.
So sorry we didn't hear about it until July 3rd. Would have felt privileged to come and show my respects. I think he would have liked the idea of playing golf at the time. The mention of him mom calling him was beautiful.
Jack, may you rest n the peace you so very deserve.
Perhaps when I too am called home we can make a golf date. Just a beginning player but I would imagine ALL the players in heaven automatically become expert professionals.
You were always one of the best and I am proud to have called you my friend.
Thinking of Judy, the children and you.
May God bless you and your family at this difficult time.
