Obituary of Kenneth E DeGennaro

Kenneth De Gennaro of Basking Ridge, New Jersey passed away April 14, 2013. Kenneth and his wife Evelyn have lived in Basking Ridge since 1972, and moved to Fellowship Village in 2005 to accommodate their needs in later years . He married Evelyn in 1948. He served as an ensign on the USS Missouri in WWII. Kenneth was employed as a mechanical engineer with Western Electric until 1985 when he retired and continued working as a consultant for many years.He also worked as a zoning officer in Tewksbury Township following his retirement. He is survived by his wife Evelyn, twin sister Elsie, his two daughters Ellen and Jill, and his grandchildren Christopher, Gabrielle, and Cassandra,He is predeceased by his son David. Kenneth epitomized excellence in fatherhood and was a dedicated husband. He will truly be missed by many for his generosity, humor, commitment to his family, and spirit. Services will be held at the Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 11am.
