To Dave's family: I knew Dave during the time he worked at Exxon when we were colleagues in the same unit. He was a really nice man, always approachable, good to talk to, about business or the topic of the day. I have a picture of him in my mind's eye dressed in a glen plaid suit. We all knew, of course, that he was the father of six children which provided another reason for him to be a standout. I hadn't seen him in many years, but I'm saddened at the news of his death and, of course, can still see him now in that tasteful glen plaid suit. My sincere condolences.
