Obituary of Margaret A Seamans

Meg (Anderson) Seamans, 50, of West Caldwell, NJ passed away at Mountainside Hospital on Thursday February 7, 2013 after a long illness. Meg was a 1985 graduate of Mary Baldwin College, where she majored in French and Business. She loved to travel and during her younger years, lived in several countries throughout Europe. She worked at Millington Quarry, in the Purchasing Department for 13 years. Loved deeply by her sisters and brothers, Meg had a heart of gold. A wonderful friend to all, whether it was a neighbor or girl at the grocery store, she always gave a cheery hello, and a beautiful smile with her sparkling blue eyes. Her true love was her horses, dogs and cats. She enjoyed hiking, camping and spending time outdoors. Born on February 1, 1963, Meg was the daughter of the late Kay and Thomas W. Anderson. She is survived by sisters, Kate Schultz of Cedar Grove, NJ, and Lisa Nettnay of North Attleboro, MA, as well as brothers Thomas Anderson and his wife Harriet, of Sudbury, MA, Jim Anderson and his wife Anne of Tavernier, FL and David Anderson and wife, Diane of Asbury, NJ. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 15, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Gallaway & Crane Funeral Home, 9 Church Street, Bernardsville, NJ 07924. Graveside service will be on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Holy Cross Cemetery, 145 Mt. Airy Road, Basking Ridge, NJ, 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to a local animal shelter of your choice.
