Obituary of Paula A Lubas

Paula Ann Lubas, 63, passed away peacefully at her home in Basking Ridge, NJ on Thursday, December 19 th , 2024.


 
Paula was born on February 21 st , 1961 to John Pabst II and Helen Yewasis Pabst in Plainfield, NJ. Paula grew up in Roselle, NJ, with her four siblings, John Pabst III, Suzanne Wright, Jo Ann Pabst, and Carol Crincoli. She was involved in Junior Achievement and the first aid squad for the Roselle Volunteer Ambulance Corp. She made lifelong friends at LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY where she studied accounting & philosophy. Paula believed in finding God through all things, adopting Jesuit practices and spirituality from Eastern and Western religions. 


 
In 1989, Paula married Michael Lubas. Paula took great pleasure in being a mom, and she is survived by her two sons, Adam and Matthew Lubas, and daughters-in-law Kate Bradley Lubas and Elizabeth Alt.


 
Paula was a businesswoman, a traveler, a dog mom, and an avid game player. She was known for her generosity, love of Bruce Springsteen, fundraising efforts for Relay for Life, and baking the best sourdough breads and delicious desserts. Paula had an amazing ability to connect with anyone, live in the present moment, and build lasting friendships. Her positivity and strength were infectious to be around. A beacon of hope, love, and willpower, Paula Lubas will forever reside in our hearts as we carry her legacy forward.


 
A celebration of life will be held and announced in the future. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the below list of organizations.
