Anne, we met at Kutztown many years ago and recently reconnected. You are one of the kindest people I met in our dorm. Once I got to know you better I realized how funny and witty you are. Your smile is the best ! You were too young for this and I am so sad and sorry for everyone’s loss . You will be remembered and missed. Rest in peace my friend.

Have you ever expected a whisper but heard thunder, that was my Queen. She didn’t demand respect but earned it. A fierce defender of her family and friends. A life well lived. My life will not be the same without her. But is better for each moment I spent with her.

“Can I get you a beverage” is a phrase you cloned a good 45 years ago. It is one I heard you utter for the last time three weeks ago. Always with a smile. Your beautiful signature smile.
Thank you for your friendship throughout the decades and distances. Thank you for giving us a home away from home whenever I/we came home to Bernardsville after my childhood home was sold. Thank you for being the first US friend to come visit us in Holland. Thank you for being eager to learn all things Dutch (especially the pronunciation of the cheese…).
Thank you for being you. Thank you for so many memories. You are loved. Heaven has gained one powerhouse of a bright star.
Condolences, love and light to Rob, Sarah, Nona, Gregg, Peter, Dennis, Julia, Liz, Erin, Soren, Liam, Patrick, Henry and Stella.
In sympathy,
The Dutchies (a nickname we lovingly got from Anne)

She was my role model, my partner, and my confidante...she always called me "My Donna". I was honored she claimed me like that. We worked long hours, traveled a lot of miles, and laughed a lot together. I will miss you. To my funny, witty, and incomparable friend, you'll always be my Queen.
To Rob and Sarah, thanks for loaning her to me for a little bit. She treasured you both.

My heart is completely broken. The 40 years of love, laughter, and friendship that we shared, especially during our time at Kutztown University, were some of my life’s greatest gifts, and these memories will remain in my heart forever. I will always remember your quick wit, your sweet and mischievous smile, your HUGE heart, and your bravery and grace. Rest peacefully, my sweet friend, our Anna Banana. I love you always and will miss you forever
I am sending my deepest and sincerest condolences to Robert, Sarah, and the Schonbachler and Squadrito families. May your happy memories of your beautiful Anne bring you comfort and strength during this most difficult time.
